The most important thing to me is that you are prepared for college. You may hate me now, as long as you appreciate me later. I am not in this to win a popularity contest; I am in this because I honestly care about your future. Why else would I grade every lousy, picky error on your essays, at home, on the weekends, for no pay? You kids, you kids, you kids will be magnificent.
